Network standards

Curated local businesses. In-person redemption only.

GuestNetwork should feel like a trusted local guide with redeemable in-person offers. The network is intentionally focused on independent, destination-specific businesses that create real visitor experiences.

Qualification rules

What qualifies as a GuestNetwork merchant or partner.

Every market should be curated. The goal is not to list everything. The goal is to build a trusted local offer network that supports physical visits, local identity, and measurable local spend.

What qualifies

Businesses that can serve visitors in person and honor a clear offer, perk, booking, walk-in, or experience.

  • Independent restaurants, cafés, bars, bakeries, breweries, and food halls
  • Boutiques, gift shops, makers, markets, galleries, bookstores, and local retail
  • Gyms, yoga, pilates, spas, massage, salons, recovery, swimming, wellness, and recreation
  • Tours, museums, sightseeing, attractions, rentals, family activities, lessons, and local services
  • Hotels, host networks, visitor centers, events, chambers, CVBs, and downtown districts as distribution partners

What the network seeks

High-trust local businesses that make the destination feel more valuable, walkable, memorable, and commercially alive.

  • Visitor-friendly businesses with clear hours, staff, location, and redemption process
  • Offers that create a real reason to visit now, not vague awareness
  • Merchants willing to set caps, blackout times, and clear terms
  • Categories that keep more visitor dollars circulating locally
  • Partners that support local identity, guest safety, and measurable outcomes

What does not fit

The network should avoid partners that weaken trust, create safety risk, or do not generate real local activity.

  • National corporate chains or offers available everywhere
  • Online-only coupons, affiliate links, delivery-only offers, or app-only rewards with no physical visit
  • Unclear, misleading, bait-and-switch, or hidden requirement offers
  • Unsafe, unlicensed, or unverified operators in regulated categories
  • Businesses that do not honor published terms, track redemption, or respect guest privacy

In-person redemption standard

Every GuestNetwork offer must bring the guest into a real local place, service, venue, activity, or experience. The pass can be digital, but the redemption must be physical.

Stay eligibility logic

Exclusive local perks become eligible only while the stay is active.

GuestNetwork is not a generic coupon feed. Because a guest is staying at a participating or approved local address, they become eligible for exclusive community perks, deals, rewards, gifts, experiences, benefits, discounts, and offers during that stay.

Eligibility begins when the stay is active and ends after checkout. Every participating perk is designed to be redeemed in person, helping local businesses convert nearby visitors into real foot traffic.

FAQ

How the stay-active pass works.

GuestNetwork is designed to be simple for guests, controllable for merchants, useful for lodging partners, and measurable for destination organizations.

Is the pass available to everyone?

No. GuestNetwork is designed around approved stay addresses and active check-in/check-out window. Guests become eligible because their stay is active.

Can merchants control their offers?

Yes. Merchants can control the perk, deal, reward, discount, cap, blackout time, redemption method, eligible dates, and audience fit.

Can passes be customized?

Yes. Passes can be designed around cities, neighborhoods, events, sports fans, families, couples, conferences, weddings, wellness travelers, or merchant categories.

How do groups work?

A party staying at the same approved location can receive linked access. Rules can define whether perks are per guest, per room, per booking, per party, or per redemption.
